Keep Bad Fats at Bay

What’s the difference between hydrogenated and partially hydrogenated fats? New York internist Dr. Keith Roach answers that question in his syndicated column, defining the two unhealthy fats and also highlighting two healthier fats, monounsaturated and polyunsaturated. He explains that healthier fats are found in oils such as canola. Roach says, “I recommend as little trans fat in the diet as possible – preferably none.”
