In response to a consumer trend toward clean eating, food manufacturers are changing recipes and food labels to include more easily understood ingredients. In fact, Food Navigator reports one baked-goods manufacturer now uses canola oil in place of soybean oil, to distance itself from the allergy concerns about soy protein.
