Obesity Study Remains in the News

On Huffington Post,  Katherine Brooking, MS, RD, shares four key ingredients - backed by science - to reduce belly fat. The list includes monounsaturated fats, like those found in plant-based canola oil, as a powerful weapon in the fight against belly fat. Brooking cites study findings published in Obesity, which found that participants consuming a diet high in canola oil and high-oleic canola oil saw a decrease in abdominal fat and lower blood pressure.
