Not All Oils Created Equal

There are so many cooking oil choices. Which is best? Siddhi Shroff, a registered dietitian from the University of Kentucky, reports in the Lexington Herald-Ledger that of all plant-based fats, canola oil is lowest in saturated fat, and high in monounsaturated fatty acids. The story, also picked up by the Huffington Post, cites the heart-health benefits of canola oil and its potential to help control blood glucose levels, as well as its versatility —and adds that canola oil is affordable, too!
