Celebrity chef, Katie Lee shares why she is canola crazed on Food Network’s popular series The Kitchen. Lee names canola oil her preferred cooking oil for its “nice high smoke point.” Lee recommends coating a cast-iron skillet with canola oil to sear shrimp patties to perfection because they have the tendency to fall apart when placed directly on the grill.
